Ad Block for Chrome (and Firefox)

As many of you are aware websites can be plagued with adverts and often they accidently lead you to places you did not want to visit or they encourage the user to try to download unwanted files or create hard to close popups.

 

To avoid this we recommend an extension for chrome called “Ad Block plus” to your work computers in the coming weeks (if not some of you have it already).

 

Here is an example of it at work;

 

To get this plugin yourself please feel free to do the following;

 

Once you’re on their site click “+ Free”.

 

Then click “Add”

 

You will see an icon appear in the top right of Google Chrome if it is installed successfully.
