Indexing PDF’s in Windows and Outlook

Use the Adobe Ifilter;

This adds functionality to Outlook for searching with inside PDF files.

It seems in the past this was included in adobe reader, but somewhere it has been omitted from install (or so it seems).

To check if its working you simply type “indexing options” in start. Choose outlook and then advanced, files type, select pdf and if it says its missing install from link above.
